Advances in Science, Engineering and Society (ASES) is a fully open-access journal. All articles published in the journal are freely, immediately, and permanently accessible to readers worldwide upon publication, with no embargo period.

ASES is committed to the principles of open scholarship and firmly believes that unrestricted access to research enhances the dissemination of knowledge and maximizes academic, professional, and societal impact. Readers are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to, and use the full text of all published articles without financial, legal, or technical barriers.

The journal operates in accordance with the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing and adheres to the definition of open access as articulated by the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).
